The ability to be able to take a screen shot. Would be useful to take a screenshot of score or etc.

Most computers have a built-in screenshot mechanic, and if your computer doesn’t, then your launcher should. Steam does, and so does Origin. (Origin is trash, not sorry.)

We are considering how we can best accommodate this without making it a confusing experience browsing your clips library.

This would be really nice since I was previously using the NVidia shadowplay thing which would record gameplay and take screenshots, but I switched to Medal.tv since it is better. However, I can’t take screenshots for the time being.

Is anyone available to answer some questions for me?

1. If we released screenshots, but you couldn’t upload them to Medal, would that be okay?
2. What do you want from this screenshot feature?

I want to be able to map any button on my keyboard to take screenshots. Also be able to see the screenshots in medal and be able to download them to my computer if wanted.

1. For me it would no problem if we can’t upload the Screenshots to Medal

2. I want to make Screenshots maybe of our Stats to send Friends or if there a very nice Scene in the Game

1- Yes that would be ok, Images are easy to share elsewhere so it won’t be a problem if we can’t share them on Medal.

2- I want to be able to save screenshots from my games with a click of a hotkey. Beyond that some nice extras would be:
The ability to set the resolution and quality of the screenshots.
The abilty to take HDR screenshots.

With screenshots, I would love to see it work similar to imgur links, how they are embeded on discord to see the actual screenshots, and even post them on nonembeded places such as twitch chats and you can see the actual image.

Why not for non-gaming purposes like the desktop, browser, non-games, etc.? People want to only have to use Medal and not also depend on other additional software like Shadowplay, etc. like @Nico Kart, @Eder Mendes, @Thamer and many others have already mentioned. It’s called SCREENshot and not just GAMESCREENshot for a reason.

Because the sceenshots aren’t uploaded to Medal, there’s no justification to limit it only for games.
