Allow montages to be created from a single clip#676
Alot of the time, I want to make a clip from multiple moments in a single 2 minute clip, but I can only get one segment from each clip as Medal currently stands.
The Early Access montaging feature allows for multiple-clip montaging, but I cannot easily duplicate the original clip I try to montage to extract all those moments from the original single clip.
This would be especially useful when recording entire gaming sessions, as it is one of the most convenient features I miss coming from Plays.tv.
This is now possible! Multiple moments from one clip CAN create a montage from a single 2-minute clip. Althought there is not a “Splice/split” tool, the same single-clip montage effect can be achieved in the current version).
To do this, Open the clip in the editor. In the editor panel select the same clip to add a duplicate to the timeline.
Now trim each segment to remove the unwanted parts.
This process is repeatable.
