Bring back the old Session Trimming Interface#4163

I am providing feedback regarding the recent update to the session trimming interface for long recordings.

Previously, the workflow allowed users to click on a long session recording and use a ‘Start Trimming’ button. This opened a dedicated trimming window with a timeline that featured a ‘+ Clip’ button, which made it very intuitive and efficient to quickly create multiple clips from a single recording session.

The new interface requires users to drag the sides of the session timeline directly in the Session Preview window to select portions, and then click ‘Save’ or ‘Save as Copy’. I find this new design significantly more difficult to use and less efficient than the previous method. I strongly prefer the old workflow with the quick clip creation option at the current position.

I am requesting that the old interface be restored, or that an option to revert to the previous ‘Start Trimming’ workflow be provided.
