Various Album UX suggestions#3900

While looking bugs for CQA on this page, I noticed a few things that I think aren’t clear & can be improved.

• In album the clip context menu has a red remove from album button and no delete button. But when doing multiple selection there is a discreet white button to remove them from album, and a big red delete button that deletes them forever like library.
  I think it can be misleading, maybe you shouldn’t allow delete from there ? Just remove from the album, as for the favorite or My games section for ex.

• Once you created an album link, you can only copy the link, not remove it - I believe because the “copy link” option involves uploading the clips ? While private albums require premium to do so (because it’s regular sync). So if you click it to see or try, all your album is uploaded (unlisted) and you can’t go back. It’s think it’s not clear enough for what it takes.
  Maybe don’t force the upload? Or add a modal explaining what creating that link involves and that you can’t go back, wether on your clips or ont he album itself. (because duplicating your album won’t unupload your clips)

• You can’t re-private an album (yes that’s what I said above, but I think that it’s great that you could do it)

• The top right button to start a montage of the whole album is disabled as soon as you have ONE full session. I think it’s better to just ignore that session and allow a montage of everything else (maybe with a warning like “X full sessions will be ignored”)

• That button mentioned previously doesn’t exist anymore as soon as you shared your album

• The state of the clips in a private album may be misleading to think they are public.
  While you haven’t click the “create link” button, there is no “information” icon to show the album status.
  And if you click “Add people” it already says “General access - everyone with the link can view uploaded clips”, that I think is to warn if you invite someone, as the album becomes shared by link as soon as you add someone here, no validation in the modal for ex

• Last thing, if you create an album through the “shared with me page”, then the album is public by default (it has a link).
  But if you add clips to it, those clips are not auto uploaded, as opposed to what happen when you click the “create link” button on a private album. (mentioned in 1st message above)
  It is not possible to be in that state if you create an album the normal way.
