Editor Zoom#3366

Howdy, yall should make it to where we can zoom wherever we want & not just to 40% (ik its to stop it from pixelating but would still be nice) also maybe make the editor effects go off the screen so you can capture other parts of a video with zoom (like the blindspots on the far left & right)

Hey @Music4satari. I dont recall any magnification restrictions being 40% but ill take a look at the constraints.

As for the blindspots, you mean video outside of the canvas?

not outside the canvsas no (heres also a pic of the sizing) but when you zoom it wont go all the way cause the program stops the effects from clipping to the outside so the whole left & right side (not sure how many pixels) is basically just dead footage

(also for context i mainly use the 9:16 format)

the red on the outside is where the zoom wont pick up anything at all

Lol ah! Explains my confusion. I thought you were talking about the new video editor we’re doing slow roll outs with. You should give that a shot in early access!

whats weird is i switched to the early access version of medal & dont see a single difference. maybe i did it wrong along the way

Yeah so they both technically work. Old projects arent compatible with the new one so it opens up in the old one. You would have to try by making a new edit if that makes sense.

oh yeah that 100% makes sense, i asked the support bot & i guess he just said it in a weird way. ill give it a shot rq & will be back here in like an hour to lyk :)
