Bring back option to overwrite original clips when editing#3360

The new Advanced Editor always creates a new clip when editing, but the old editor used to let you overwrite/replace the original clip. This workflow was much more convenient for keeping libraries organized and maintain the original date.

I haven’t edited any clips at all since the new editor came out because of this issue. The current system creates too much clutter by keeping both original and edited versions, which makes library management frustrating.

Could you please add an option to overwrite the original clip when editing, similar to how the old editor worked? Having both the original and edited versions creates clutter and makes library management more difficult.

Many users prefer the old behavior where edits would replace the original clip rather than creating duplicates.
