An option where you can setup a maximum space size on a disk. When the size is reached, delete the oldest recordings.

Yes please! It is much more confortable to record everything and review it later to clip it. But if i don’t want my hard drive to be full after a week this feature would be very helpful!

The first version of this has been released! You can find it under Settings > Clips & Recording > Capture Folder Location. We will continue improving this feature and building on it’s functionality.

Expanding upon this, would it be possible to have the option of not having to press a button to free up space? I’m imagining something like #343 but it would happen only when storage is full. There are some recording softwares that operate like that. They don’t prompt the user, they just keep rolling footage until a recording is bookmarked or saved by the user. There are times where I don’t realize that Medal isn’t recording because I needed to go press the button to free up space.

yes please, that is literally what was asked from the beginning, having to manually check it and press the delete button is the same as having to go to the files explorer and manually deleting. The point was to make it so that medal would automatically delete it.
