Yes please! It is much more confortable to record everything and review it later to clip it. But if i don’t want my hard drive to be full after a week this feature would be very helpful!

If it is easier to code I am totally okay with both of those options. The majority of my clips I share with friends so their stats won’t be high, I would be a little bummed if my plays upload library was cleared out again.
Then again, I could always back them up myself.
As long as my old unneeded content is deleted regularly I will redownload medal

I love to go back and watch my old videos that may or may not be listed/unlisted. Unuploaded can go bye-bye for all I care but my uploaded ones I’d prefer to stay up like other Video services (f.ex. YouTube).

To add to the conversation about if the videos being promted before they get deleted. I personally think it’d be annoying if I set a limit of 1000 GB and that all older videos that exceed my limit gets promted would be annoying. That’s why I would want that it can differentiate just the full videos that are favorited since I use full session recording because I Always forget to press the designated key.

Thinking about your point 1, I think it would be great to decide which content is considered into that allocation space. Like, when Xgbs are getting full, delete the clips. or the session recordings. Or just delete whatever.

About point 2, I think a toggle on each video that would mark them as “don’t delete under any circumstances” would fix most of the issues related to what you mention.

I don’t like the idea of videos uploaded being automatically deleted. If I upload the video, it’s because I want it on the cloud and accesible 24/7, if I don’t, I just wouldn’t upload it. Thats why I don’t upload 99.9% of the recordings medal makes.

Thanks for the feedback all. Can you attach your medal usernames? I’d like to see how all of you use Medal, how often you upload, etc.

I’m @FaroeseCoffee
I also use it mostly to share neat highlights and fun bugs with friends. Occasionally to show of a broken build in some game.

I use Medal to record Games, extract highlights (or single rounds) to forward them to my cutter

Only very strange fails will be forwarded to Medal (but since a long time I am not able to use it, because of a full disk. I disabled the complete Record)
