Folders for Clips#252

Be able to sort clips into folders, and automatically put new videos into them.

This feature would be greatly appreciated. Personally, I use medal to not only clip gameplay moments I enjoyed – but also interactions I’ve had with other people whilst playing my piano in voicechat.

Being able to easily sort my clips by assigning them to different folders, would make it SIGNIFICANTLY easier to find and share specific kinds of clips I’ve made.

Hey everyone! 👋

We’re glad to finally announce that this is now available in the latest version of the Medal desktop app!

You can create an album by right clicking one or more clips in your library, or navigating to the “Albums” tab in your sidebar to create a new collection of clips there!

We’re really looking forward to seeing what you’ll use these for, whether it’s prepping a new montage, organising your best memories, or just making an album of clips with your friends!

We’re not done making your Medal experience better so we’d love to hear your feedback over on our Discord. Feel free to ping me over there with your feedback and suggestions (@xtojump) 🙂

is it possible to set a keybind that automatically saves the clip to the desired album so that there is no need to manually move the clips to the album

interesting idea @Viccx , can you explain a bit how you’d use that? like what kind of albums would you create using that?
