Autodelete feature not working properly#2302

Hello, I’m glad the autodeleting feature when the folder reaches a certain capacity was implemented a while ago (I was one of the people that sugested it in this platform) but in my opinion, the current implementation is not working correctly.

So far, it has never worked properly for me, as you guys have implemented a “security” feature, where if medal sees that it’s going to delete a large amount of data, it asks for permission to delete it.
This completely defeats the purpose of automatically deleting older files, as if I have to confirm it, its not longer automatic, and so far it has always asked me for permission when deleting files. To the point where I have set up a 100gb limit, and the folder went up to 700gb because I didn’t open the medal and didn’t see the notification.
I think this definetly defeats the whole purpose of the feature, however, if this feature is to be retained, I think that at least there should be a check in the configuration menu to enable or disable this confirmation.

In my case I don’t want medal to prompt me about anything. Folder goes over the limit, delete the oldest file. Plain and simple.
