Choose which applications have their audio recorded#2272

Right now you can choose between ALL desktop audio, game audio only, and game + discord audio, and usually game audio + discord audio is all you need.

However, i play arma 3 with a unit and for arma 3 we use Teamspeak due to its support of plugins for arma 3 that allow for proximity voice chat / radio channels. But in this case medal wont record the teamspeak audio.

If there was an option to manaully select which applications to record audio from and which to NOT record audio from, that would be wonderful.

I have the same problem with RDR2 RP. It uses Teamspeak for proximity voice chat. The only way to record it right now is with all desktop audio, but then if I listen to music at the same time, it will ruin the recording.

I have the exact same issue in GTA RP. I would love for this suggestion to happen!

I am having the same issue as well in GTA FiveM RP like Jeff2142 is having. Is there a fix for this yet? This thread is over 4 months old and there hasn’t been any updates.

We do have plans for this in a future update. We’re currently slowly rolling out a new version of the recorder which will allow us to support more granular audio options. Thanks for your feedback and suggestions!

This sounds wonderful. It would also be very helpful to be able to select what audio gets stored on what audio tracks, for example having spotify or general music from YT or anywhere on its own separate audio-track like in this suggestion: #2380 or maybe if there is no other way like in #2388
