Montage Indicators and Clip Adding#2189

I most often use Medal to create montages of clips of my gameplay. Here are some things that have recently been removed (?) or changed that I think might be valuable feedback. (I love Medal, use it daily, and I’m just sharing some things that have been helpful and how recent changes have been unhelpful.)
For starters, clips no longer seem to indicate that they have been used in a project or montage. This makes it significantly harder to sort thru and add clips to my montage without adding ones I’ve already used. I’ve begun watching the clips in order to figure out if I’ve used them before, this is highly unreliable because of my bad memory :) Previously in purple or blue text on my clips they would say “used in 1 montage” and this helped me a lot. I used to create a montage then use the “used in 1 montage” indicator to help me delete all of the clips that have been used in a montage to prevent storage issues and cluttered clips.
In this same realm, when trying to add clips to a montage thru the editor, if I select multiple, the clips get slotted into the timeline in the opposite direction that I’d like. I look at my clips and try to add them sorted by oldest. They get added to the timeline in order of most recent. So my newest clip is at the front of the timeline and the oldest is at the back. I try to make clip montages chronological in the order that they are clippped (oldest to newest) and I find that slipping them into the timeline in order of most recent is unhelpful.
Without the indications of already being used, and adding multiple selected clips in order of most recent to oldest, I have to watch each clip and add them one by one so I get the order that I’d like. I see that I can sort the clips by oldest/newest but this shows me clips from months ago that I haven’t touched rather than clips from yesterday that I want to see in order from oldest to newest.
I’d like to see the indicators “used in 1 montage” to help me sort thru already used clips. I have tons of clips I need to sort thru and delete, whereas it used to indicate I had used them already so that process took no time.
I’d like to control the order in which multiple selected clips are added to the timeline.

Appreciate the feedback!

As far as “Used in montage” indicators go, this is absolutely something we want to add back. It was removed in preparation of other UI changes, but this is in our list of things we want to do.
