insane buffering times and frequency#2067

What’s up with this? I never even knew that buffering circle existed a few months ago and now I have to watch it spin for ages before watching local files - I even moved my library to an SSD and Medal’s performance is still awful. This was never an issue with older versions of Medal, even on an HDD with hours long videos at 20M bitrate.
