Allow for uploads longer than 2 minutes#1126
As the title states. The 2 minute limit on uploads is restrictive. Something like 3 minutes would allow for longer clutch moments.
I would say 5min minimum, maximum 10min. Sometimes you end up in fights that had some dead space between them while you reload or rotate and in games like Tarkov and Hunt, fights can be short but also long if both teams tactically move.
A short limit like this is nice to create a “Vine” effect for Medal.tv but would render is entirely useless for many users including myself.

@Sean great suggestion, but tbh the higher cap we have, the more expensive it is for us.
Would you be willing to pay for storage at some point?
Medal.tv doesnt have the ability to trim out the middle, not to mention you’d lose context on location movement and rotations, i’ll just go use something else while i wait for this to be sorted out.
@Iannengel Our new editor which is currently on Early Access has the ability to split your clip to trim out parts you won’t want to keep
I would be willing to pay for longer clip uploads cause in the game im currently playing I had a 10 minute clip and cause I cant upload that clip I cant play my game for 3 days because they wont accept screen share as a form of proof nor will they accept multiple clips because it could have been spliced to benefit me in some way.
i do think that 3-5 minutes maximum would be perfect for free users, and any longer then you would have to pay for extra storage, although id dislike the idea of giving medal the chance to hide extra features behind a pay wall, as ive really been enjoying the new editor, so if you only had to pay for extra storage, and it doesnt include “premium templates/VFX” then i would for sure :)
5 minuet clips at the max would be amazing to have, as it would be really good to save fighting game clips fully if they’re really short, and if they’re longer with a 5 minuet clip you could cut each fight into 3 fights to upload! :D
A custom time limit option would be perfect! But yes 3 minutes would help too.
Still need 3min and 3:30 min save options.
2min is a tad too short and the next is 5min which makes files sizes too large
It’s possible to upload longer clips when subscribed to Medal Premium. Current limit if 10mins, but if we see demand we will consider increasing it even more.
Hi, what about recording limits on your pc. It skips from 2 to 5 min. We need 3 minutes, or a slider would be even better

This is ridiculous, I should be able to upload a 3 min clip. Instead of paying $10 for 10mins in order to upload a 3 min clip the math isn’t matching correctly this needs to be addressed asap. It’s a kick to the balls what if I need to use a 3 min clip for a situation people were in and me as staff/admin cause get it because well it’s 3 mins you shoulda paid that $10 bucks see the math ain’t matching right.
