Montage editor saving system.#1078

As I guess now saving works like this:
ZitroLee, Medal support: “thats just how it works. if you save it, it will save every changes you made. And you will have to work from the last save you made”

But it’s so inconvinient tbh.
I was working on my montage, saved it and I discovered that audio on video was desynchronised on just 1 clip. It means that I need to delete all the work I did before. Same thing happened to me after a bug, when I just couldnt save all my montage work because of saving bug.

You guys have amazing clipping tool, but your editing tool should be reworked imo.

Decision:
Add function to save project without joining all clips into one uneditable clip. I need to have ability to change clips after I save montage project.

All edits are auto-saved, but not rendered. So they are still individual clips.

Once you save to library it will automatically keep the project file, so you can continue editing later

If you post to medal you need to check the box to save edits, so you can come back and edit later (in the newer version coming soon, when you exit the editor it’ll ask if you want to keep the project)
