Please let us change the file type#2311

so when I put my sessions in primere pro it says unsupported file type and thats because you guys use mkv and it would really nice not to learn a third party application so I can change my file type from mkv to mp4 or H265 and when I use a third party application like shutter encoder it ruins the quality and there are so many words I dont know it takes a professianl to fix it and all im saying is it would be nice to have the file type be choosen when you make an acoount or a setting to change your sessions and past sessions
